Job "hired me" but have not got back?? help!?

definitely call up, you should be able to get a number from 118 118. once you get through to the company say you want to speak to the company manager (whatever his or her name is) if they ask what its regarding just say recruitment. theyre not going to hold it against you for being eager to start work, and it may be that you've fallen through the cracks in the system. if they just said a day and not a date then it will mean the next time it comes round not the following week. just ask how things were coming along regarding your application.
