Humans are not the almighty..?

Isn't it true there must be something more to life if we aren't the only ones with the gift of intelligence? I see Earth as a planet where little feeble creatures called humans coexist with other creatures who have also created their world out of their intelligence. I am not saying that there is a god, but that there is something more to life than existance.
