Should I kick my friend out of my project group?

Hmmm... it depends. She may have been in groups where no one cared if she didn't do anything, that has happened to me. If she is being defensive while you are confronting I suggest talking to your teacher. It's not tattling but advice on how to get her to help out. Some teachers grade on participation by having the group rate the other members of the group confidentially. If she keeps it up, you and the other person work on the project and when it comes time to turn it in tell the teacher that she didn't do any work on any of it and I'm sure she will not get a high grade. Just some suggestions :)
