Mercedes ml270 instrument cluster warning light?

i have a yellow warning light that comes on when i start the engine then goes off after a short while. it is the shape of a short electric coil, right to left. it is in the middle of the instrument cluster panel. i have the owners manual but does not show this symbol in the booklet.
