Can a Sandy Bridge owner help me out please?
OK fine Golden Gate owners can be in on this too. Does the Sandy Bridge contain an integrated GPU. Why? When i go out and buy a CPU I don't want a GPU.When I consider a GFX card I want one that will dig as little as possible into system resources. I thought that was the benefit of 3rd party gfx cards. The return of the shared system RAM due the RAM in the GFX card and a reduction in your CPU load would seem to be the goal here. Knowing ahead of time that it contained a GPU wasn't a deterrent? I've also heard something about the necessity of 3 gfx cards to full appreciate the cpu's power.I mean of course you can use one but in a very crude way it seems akin to triple channel ram. Works fine alone but better in 3s. I really don't understand anything about this lil guy. Could you please educate this feeble minded peasant so that I can decide whether or not I want one. On a side note after reading about the motherboard recalls did that deter you? Most of my parts are at least a year or 3 old. Of course my reasoning is to buy hardware that has stood the test of time. Has reviews all over the internet. Allow time for consumer complaints and issues. Waiting for that gives them time to release better drivers. Why the heck does it take Joe blow gamer working at Burger King getting 9.25 p/h to discover a flaw that a multi-million dollar a year R&D guy overlooked? Um uh boss it worked fine in the lab. Um uhhhh you know on paper is different then the lab. You know the lab is different then the real world. Let's play pass the buck. Whatever. Anyways WHY did you get the Sandy Bridge? I am considering the 2600K of course. Best motherboard?
