Does anyone know how to find out the sims serial code without the booklet?

I had my sims downloaded on my moms and my computer but mine crashed and she got a new one. I don't have the sims downloaded but i have the dvd and have no idea what the serial number is...anyone know how to get it?-i have a sims 3 account
